Brother Reginald Eugene Land was born and raised in Williamston, North Carolina, where he attended Rodgers Elementary, E.J. Hayer High, and Williamston High Schools.
Brother Land became interested in music in 8th grade, when he began playing the piano and saxophone. Brother Land received several awards during grade school, earned from his performance in concert band.
